Learn how your gifts are transforming lives and Restoring Hope........

Story of Rangamma

To you $11 may be a cup of coffee or a simple breakfast but to Rangamma it is a hope that changed her life. Rangamma is elderly lady in the village. She led a decent life in the village while her husnab works in the farm land produces income to support the family. Unfortunately covid took  all of her family including children and husband. She has no one to look after her. She struggles to survive to make $3 a day.

When our HOPE team member recognized her need and we gifted her with two beautiful chickens. She is so grateful and started explaining her little business plan to sell eggs and make income to survive. She said her dream came true after lot of prayers.

Imagine the Impact....Now she is a instrument of hope to others.

She says "I sell eggs and speak about Jesus".

Story of Sarangi

Sarangi was a housewife, married to a fisherman, and together they had two beautiful children. She had never worked outside the home and was unfamiliar with how the world beyond her household operated.

Tragically, her husband passed away two years ago due to COVID-19. For a few months, some family members offered support, but over time, they began to see her and her children as a burden. In her society, as a widow, she was looked down upon and denied opportunities.

As she struggled to care for her children and meet their needs, Sarangi became overwhelmed and lost hope. In her darkest moment, she considered ending her life and that of her children, thinking it was the only way to free them from being a burden to others.

However, as she was preparing to carry out this tragic decision, she encountered a missionary from HOPE who prayed for her and encouraged her with words of life and faith. The missionary recognized her desperate situation and reached out to HOPE for intervention. Within a week, we were able to provide her with a new sewing machine and arrange training in tailoring.

With tears in her eyes, Sarangi thanked us, expressing how much this support meant to her and her family. Today, she is a successful businesswoman in her village, creating beautiful designs for women’s clothing. Along with her newfound skills, she now shares the gospel and her testimony with her customers, spreading the love of Christ.

Sarangi is not only supporting her own family but is also inspiring and teaching other widows how to start their businesses, giving them hope and purpose. Her story reminds us that hope is contagious and that through God’s grace, lives can be transformed.

Your small gift can make huge impact. Today you can give hope to some one...

Story of Laxmi - Hope Restoration

PHOTO-2022-12-18-08-31-18.jpg

When you step into Laxmi’s backyard this Christmas, the sound of a loudly bleating goat will greet you. For Laxmi and her family, it is the most wonderful sound they’ve ever heard because it represents HOPE.

Life once felt secure for Laxmi and her husband, Raja. He earned a good living as a carpenter, while Laxmi cared for their two sons and daughter at home. But their world was turned upside down when a tragic accident suddenly took Raja’s life.

Now a widow with no job, Laxmi had to bear the burden of providing for her young children all on her own. She worked tirelessly farming their land, but it wasn’t enough to keep food on the table. Paying for her children’s school fees or buying clothes became impossible.

“I was so discouraged. There was no one to help me—not from my family or my husband’s. There was no one to comfort us. To be alone and responsible for my children was a big challenge. I didn’t know how I would be able to feed them and send them to school.” – Laxmi

Yet Laxmi was not entirely alone—she knew Jesus. Her HOPE pastor and fellow church members often visited to offer her and her children comfort.

Recognizing her desperate need, HOPE provided Laxmi with two pregnant goats as a gift. In this overburdened mother’s heart, hope began to blossom again: God was caring for her. With the goats and their future offspring, Laxmi has begun a small business. She plans to sell some of the kids for income, grow her herd, and use the goat droppings to fertilize her crops.

“Because I have these goats, I can move forward in life,” Laxmi said. “I have hope that I will multiply them and be able to provide for my children’s needs.”

Generous friends like you enable our missionaries to share Christ’s love through life-changing gifts for those in desperate need. It’s remarkable to think how much a simple gift, like a goat, can transform a struggling family’s future in this part of the world!

Just $15 can provide a pair of chickens, $170 a pair of goats, or $198 can supply a brand-new sewing machine. These are just a few of the gifts that can change lives this Christmas.

I invite you to explore our Hope Gift Catalog, filled with gifts that make a real difference to suffering families, like income-generating animals. Gifts like Jesus Wells, sewing machines, bicycles, and the Holy Scriptures help break the cycle of poverty while showing Christ’s love to impoverished families in the areas we serve.

Imagine the difference we can make together!
